Instinct
Create an intimate, raw, honest visual and culinary world for a deeply personal publishing project: Instincts, a cookbook for people who cook for themselves. An unfiltered manifesto celebrating simple gestures, urban cooking, chosen solitude, and comfort on a plate.
The goal: bring a deeply felt vision of everyday cooking to life through images and recipes — intuitive, sensory, and rooted in reality.
Original recipe development : thoughtfully balanced dishes built around a central vegetable, a main protein, and a final twist — a sauce, topping, herbs… An instinctive approach, free of rigid rules, that leaves room for freedom and everyday flexibility.
Photography and food styling : raw, natural images, sometimes unfinished, captured in realistic urban interiors. Mismatched tableware, visible crumbs, and fingerprints left in plain sight. The aim is to tell the truth of real, everyday cooking.
Book art direction :
An understated, textured visual identity that puts the words and dishes first. A story told in fragments, somewhere between a journal, a personal manifesto, and recipes full of life.
A project at the intersection of a cookbook, an intimate narrative, and a visual manifesto.
Each page captures a moment, an emotion, a way of caring for yourself through cooking. A book for anyone who wants to cook differently, guided by instinct.
