SEPAL Food Service Photoshoot
With SEPAL, we turn to food service. For its JYRELA brand, which specializes in canned and dehydrated products, the goal was clear: create a premium food image library designed for restaurants and takeout businesses.
Striking, rich, cohesive images that can whet the appetite in a split second… even in very large formats.
Develop a series of images with two approaches:
Product as supplied : clearly showcasing ingredients and their quality.
Product in a recipe : featuring products in realistic, appetizing recipes that reflect food service uses (pizza, salad, a slow-cooked dish, a snack, or a dessert).
The aim: deliver a collection suitable for trade shows (SIRHA, Sandwich & Snack Show), print, and digital use, with a professional, clear, inspiring look for food professionals.
We structured the creative work around 5 distinct visual worlds, each defined by a colored backdrop drawn from JYRELA's packaging guidelines, a styled setting, and carefully controlled natural light.
Tomatoes & Sauces
A bold red backdrop and sunny, rustic scenes (tacos, sauces, pizzas). Think Italy, Mexico, slow-cooked dishes, and authentic cooking.
Vegetables
An olive-green backdrop and Mediterranean atmosphere: artichokes on herbed crème fraîche, piquillo peppers, and asparagus. Natural styling, raw textures.
Fish (tuna)
An ocean-blue backdrop, bright light, a bistro-style plate. Tuna features in simple, effective recipes: salads, tarts, sandwiches.
Legumes
A terracotta-pink backdrop, with a sunny, nourishing feel. Red beans star in a generous shakshuka, and lentils in a textured vegetarian salad.
Fruits
Bright yellow and a summery table setting: peaches in syrup, fruit salads, and sweet toast. A nod to vacations, simplicity, and freshness.
Each scene was designed to showcase the texture, the color and versatility of the products. The styling combines professional kitchen tools with approachable tableware, speaking to chefs and food-to-go businesses alike
